Loving God. Loving Neighbor.
Welcome! Grace City Church Bridgeport is a new neighborhood church in Bridgeport's Black Rock community. We are here for our neighbors— we are here for you. ________________________________ What's in our name • Grace - how we change (by the gospel). • City- our urban context for gospel renewal and restoration. • Church - our gospel-centered community for worship and mission. • Bridgeport - the city we love and live out the gospel as neighbors. Our vision and mission An urban church plant, our vision is to empower our city's neighbors to flourish through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Gospel-centered, grace-driven and neighborhood-oriented, we are committed to holistically meeting the spiritual, physical and social needs of our neighbors so that so that they may know God's peace and joy in their lives.
A warm welcome awaits you We welcome all people regardless of age, race, ethnic or religious background (including the de-churched and the disillusioned), and we are a church for those who have no church home close by. We exist not only for those who regard us as their church home, but for the well-being of the entire Black Rock community including our neighbors residing in the P.T. Barnum and Bridgeport Towers communities.

What is the gospel? God, out of love for mankind, is reconciling mankind to Himself in the atoning death of Jesus Christ. It is the good news that God has acted to forgive, redeem and heal rebellious creatures and a broken world. It is the power of God for salvation and can transform any individual and any community.
What is gospel renewal? God’s reconciled and redeemed people, out of love for Jesus Christ, are empowered by the gospel to love and serve their neighbors in tangible ways. The gospel creates a new community, a family in which we enjoy God and one another. Reconciliation across racial, ethnic and class lines is at the heart of the gospel and is highly valued in our community.
We would love to meet you, or to speak or pray with you. Please e-mail us or call at 203-923-3093.
